How my journey began

I’m Suraiya — Miss Fix It.

Six years ago, I got kicked out of nursing school.

At 21 & done playing safe, I said fuck it and booked a one-way flight to Toronto with $200, and zero plan besides “figure it out.”

I worked at an Italian restaurant knowing f*ck all about wines & A hair salon, assisting the craziest italian i’ve ever met.

a month later, the world shut down — the plandemic said pause. I said pivot, not panic.

I entered my ramen noodle era, hustled through anything I could: content creation, social media management, $5 haircuts in a basketball court, even flipping Pokémon cards hoping to hit a perfectly graded psa 10 — whatever made money while I tried to survive.

and that’s where it hit me: chaotic, messy, unstructured.

I love fixing shit no one else can fix — Systems. Workflows. Operations.
The behind-the-scenes chaos everyone avoids? that’s my version of greasy hot bacon.

Every time someone said, “There’s no solution,” I made one.

That’s how Miss Fix It was born; Out of anger, grit, and deciding my life wasn’t going to fall apart without me fighting back.

Now, I fix the operational messes holding businesses back.
